LOCATION:  Fort Eustis Aquatic Center (directions provided and map attached)

Fort Eustis is an 8-lane indoor pool.   The viewing area for spectators is above the pool in a balcony.   Parents will not be allowed on the pool deck, except when working as an official, timer, marshal, runner, etc.   Parents should not plan to sit in the balcony area for the entire meet, but bring chairs/blankets, etc. to set up on the grassy area behind the pool building and go into the balcony viewing area when their child is swimming.   There will be speakers outside so everyone can hear announcements for events and line ups.

Team tents and shade canopies can only be set up on the grassy area at the rear of the aquatic center – outside the rear doors of the pool.

Food/Concessions – The Fort Eustis pool has a snack bar that sells a small variety of food and drink items.    It’s possible that the concession line will be long with this large meet, so we recommend bringing coolers with your own food.

ENTERING FORT EUSTIS – ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR SECURITY CHECK!!
Please allow extra time to clear security at Fort Eustis.
For all vehicles/personnel without regular access to this installation, you must enter through the main gate off Ft. Eustis Blvd. (not gate #2 off of Warwick).

When you are approaching the  Fort Eustis gate, stay in far right lane and go under the white canopy structure to the Security Officers.   This may change and they may not require everyone go under the white tent, but plan to do this unless you are directed differently.   Be prepared (have it ready) to show the Security Officers your valid driver’s license and Vehicle Registration card, and identification for all persons over 16 years of age.  Also know where your insurance card and pink state inspection cards are – just in case.  Make sure everything is current.   The base speed limit is 25 mph, and no cell phone use by drivers is permitted while driving.   This is strictly enforced!   Please follow all rules and regulations of this federal facility inside and outside of the aquatic center!
